The Braintree Farmer's Market is currently reviewing Applications from Vendors and Growers for our 2012 Season
The Braintree Farmer's Market, hosted by Sustainable Braintree is a vibrant and successful Market held each week, rain or shine, on Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM, from June 16 until October 27.
The Farmer's Market is currently accepting applications from high quality vendors to be considred for addition to our roster of dynamic growers & vendors. The market is a standout event every week and is enthusiastically supported by our customers. Specially promoted feature Events such as the Strawberry Festival, Clam & Lobster Feast, Make a Difference Day, Pumpkin Festival, and the celebrated indoor Thanksgiving Farmers Market are just a few of the attractions that makes our Market unique and appealing to our customers. The diversity of our products has made the Market a "one-stop" shopping experience. The Market is extensively promoted in multiple venues for the most visibility to ensure that our vendors are successful.
The Farmer's Market is centrally located at the Braintree Town Hall Mall in the newly refurbished historic district. It is located within 1/4 mile of Rte 3, close to the Braintree Split, giving easy access for vendor set-ups. The highly visible and convenient location is within a short walking distance from the MBTA Station, Commuter Rail, ATM's, residential neighborhoods and South Braintree Square. The Farmers Market is also located on a bus route and offers an abundance of parking.
The Farmer's Market will open on June 16 and operate every Saturday until October 27, 2012, with a special indoor Thanksgiving Market on November 17, 2012. The Market will be held inside the Braintree Town Hall during inclement weather.
We are currently reviewing information from potential vendors that are unique and would add new items to our current product offerings. Products must be either locally grown or made and we encourage using local ingredients. Using earth friendly packaging is also a plus. No crafts please. Interested vendors please complete our Vendor Questionnaire. Space is limited so please respond promptly.
We are also initiating a Visiting Vendor Program for one to four days participation during the season. If your product(s) are determined to be a good fit for the Market you will be contacted. If you are selected to participate you will receive our Market Application & Rules.
The Farmer's Market seasonal fee for 2012 is $315 for 21 weeks for a 10’x10’ space; $25 for single days.Once we have your information and a signed copy of the Market Rules, we require a 50% deposit of the fee. All participants are required to provide us with copies of applicable Board of Health forms & liability insurance information, if accepted.
