Directions For Bin:
. Measure Pallets to ensure they will fit together; 1pallet for base and 4 pallets for sides of bin
. Cut 2 x 4’s to fill any large gaps in pallets and so they can be joined
. The base pallet and 4 sides are lined with ½” wire (cut to fit)
. 3 pallet sides are attached by driving deck screws through 2 x 4’s into base
. 4th pallet is lined with wire, with 3-4 scrap boards that will fit when attached to sides
. The fourth side is attached to bin with Lag Bolts so that they can be removed later when
removing compost
Directions For Cover:
Once bin is assembled, measure each side around top of bin and cut 2 x 4’s to make a removable cover. For compost bin, attach wire, and for safety, ensure that sharp edges are folded under.
