COVANTA
Covanta-SEMASS is the owner of the waste-to-energy
plant that receives all our trash at its transfer station
on Ivory Street. The Recycling Task Force was honored
to receive a grant from Covanta to help with our mission
of educating the public about their trash and recycling.
Please do not discard the following in either Trash or Recycling::
- Empty propane tanks.These are accepted at SEMASS drop-off on Ivory St. No charge; limit of 2.
- Spray cans (unless empty)
